Prophylactic medicine

Aviation medical examinations and assessments for the issuing of medical certificates to:

  • cabin crew members

  • second-class pilots (private pilots, sailplane pilots, air-balloon pilots, student pilots who qualify for an aircraft flight crew certificate requiring a second class medical certificate), flight attendants - radiotelephone operators, flight attendants - cargo operators, flight attendants - observers, and parachutists (instructors), flight attendants - navigating officers, flight attendants - engineers)

  • LAPL (amateur pilots, student pilots)

First-time health check includes:

  • Aviation Medical Examination

  • Electrocardiogram

  • Blood analysis and urinalysis

  • Audiogram

  • Eye, ear examination (as needed)

  • Sanitary book (as needed)

  • Aviation medicine expert may request additional health examinations and examinations if the results of the tests performed are not sufficient to assess the health status of the applicant for the medical certificate.

 

​For the first-time medical examination, the following documents must be submitted to obtain a medical certificate:

  • Valid identity card (passport or ID card)

  • Psychiatrist’s description of the state of health (not older than 3 months)

  • Narcologists’s description of the state of health (not older than 3 months)

  • A family doctor's description of the state of health, which indicates the medical facts relating to personal and hereditary anamnesis (not older than 3 months)

  • X-ray of the lungs, and sinuses with description (not older than 1 year)

 

Repeated health check includes:

  • Aviation Medical Examination

  • Blood analysis and urinalysis

  • Electrocardiogram (as needed)

  • Eye, ear examination, audiogram (as needed)

  • Sanitary book (as needed)

  • Aviation medicine expert may request additional health examinations and examinations if the results of the tests performed are not sufficient to assess the health status of the applicant for the medical certificate.

For a repeated medical examination, the following documents must be submitted to obtain a medical certificate:

  • Valid identity card (passport or ID card)

  • The existing medical certificate

Mandatory health checks - in accordance with Cabinet Regulation No. 219, are to be carried out by employees who are affected or whose health status may be affected by the work environment, and workers who have special circumstances at work. Individual offers and collaborative models are developed for companies.

Vaccination - prophylaxis vaccine (with the exception of yellow fever) is available on pre-registration.
